It was 2004 when I first visited The Pecans in Queen Creek. I fell in love immediately. Perhaps it’s because I grew up in the midwest or maybe it’s my love of tire swings, or perhaps it’s both. There is something about big trees. Don’t get me wrong, I love palm trees. It’s just that palm trees and tire swings don’t mix so well.
If you long for a custom home neighborhood that is a bit different than any other in the East Valley, then The Pecans in Queen Creek is your spot. This gated, custom home neighborhood has meandering, tree-lined streets and 258 large, “estate-size” lots. This neighborhood is so beautiful that local photographers flocked to it. Due to immense interest, the community has now restricted photography to those in the owners club. So, if you want to get your photo taken at The Pecans, or if you’re like me and just looking for a neighborhood to put up a tire swing, I guess you’ll have to buy this lot.
